A six-unit building where every elevator opens directly into a private residence. Each home runs on Control4, and residents grant guests access to the gate, the lobby and their floor only — through a Brivo and Control4 integration we designed for the building.

Questions people ask before they call
What does a smart home system from JE Technology cost?
It depends on the size of the home and how many systems are involved. A lighting-and-shades package for an apartment and a full Savant or Control4 home with theater, audio, security and networking are very different projects. After a site visit we provide a line-item proposal with transparent pricing, so you can see exactly where the budget goes and adjust scope before anything is ordered.
Where do you work?
We are based in New York City and work throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island and Westchester, as well as the New Jersey shore (Deal, Long Branch and Monmouth County). For larger projects we travel further.
Do you only do new construction, or can you upgrade an existing home?
Both. New construction and gut renovations let us run wiring and specify panelized systems like Lutron HomeWorks QSX. For finished homes we design around the existing walls using wireless platforms like Lutron RadioRA 3 and Control4, so you get the same experience without opening plaster.
Who supports the system after installation?
The same team that designed and installed it. We document and label every system, monitor it remotely, push firmware updates and offer service plans with priority response. No call centers, no hand-offs to a third party.
